Hollyzood.com : Is your iPhone burning your brain?

I stumbled upon this chart the other day.

It shows your the S.A.R. values for the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy portfolios VS the brand new LG Nexus 4.

S.A.R. stands for Specific Absorption Rate and mesures the amount of radio power a human tissu absorbs while operating a mobile pone. The units are Watts per Kilogram (W/kg). For you to know, S.A.R. in the US is limited to 1,6 W/kg and in Europe they are a little bit more optimistic with a 2 W/kg limit.

So back to the chart.

Interesting uh?

The iPhone beats everybody and is the champion when it comes to strong S.A.R. showers on your head.

Is this a problem?

No one will really tell you as of today if radiations bring brain cancer, and the numbers still comply with the regulations. As with tobacco, too much money is involved here to help the truth come to light.

But hey, you know the word ‘precaution’, right? ;)
