According to Intel executives like CEO Paul Otellini, the coming Windows 8 & Intel’s Quad Core “Bail Trail” chip powered tablets and devices will soon hit the $200 price tag.
These are good news for Windows 8 lovers.
Core question: is the price tag the only deal breaker delivered so far by Windows 8?
Will all of a sudden people flock to switch from iOS or Android (1.5 million devices activated… per day!) to embrace the 8 experience?
Common sense says crap is always too expensive.
I’m not saying here the Windows 8 touch experience is crap. I’m saying the market is more than saturated right now and that you really need to introduce a stellar offer if you pretend to “surface”. ;)
Is Windows 8 on touch devices in such a good shape?
Whether you anwser YES or NO, Microsoft is still making good royalties from the mobile competition. :)
