I mean closed and wild were the middle names of Windows for years.

Running Windows was an invitation to hackers to “eat all you can” from your system. And of course, once hooked, you had no other choice than wait for a fix from big Daddy, hopping the cure wouldn’t open extra breaches too.

Ballmer’s voice on mobile OSes is all but credible.
